ABOUT me
I live in Oaxaca de Juárez, surrounded by colors, mountains, flavors, and culture. I inhale and exhale inspiration.
Since I was a child, I've been drawn to all forms of expression: the arts, literature, dance, photography. They seem to me to be a safe and beautiful place through which the soul discovers itself, creating beauty in matter.
I feel like a child, free, sacred, curious, playing with my hands the dream of life. I feel like a poet who seeks beauty and a powerful artist who creates it. I feel grateful to have a lifetime to experiment with talents, to find forms, to tell stories.
Design has taught me to create order out of chaos, structure, patterns, and to have a more premeditated way of thinking, with planning and methodology.
Embroidery has taught me patience and appreciation for detail.

I have the mind of a designer, the hands of an artisan and the heart of an artist.
I am drawn to many different interests and mediums of expression and feel that the goal in my life is to develop them all and find value in their intersection, to integrate them all.
I constantly visualize a beautiful garden in which many different plants, trees and flowers create the final form; my plants and flowers and trees include embroidery, photography, writing, design, animation, drawing and leather craft.
My quest, or rather, my need has always been the expression of the soul, to let out and create movement, and to create beauty, and to create a language, a way to manifest the inner world, the deep sense of connection with that which is beyond matter or understanding, beyond our own life. I feel something inside that screams in a poetic and beautiful way, that has been trying to come out for a lifetime.
Art for me has always been a refuge, a religion, I have felt more connected in a museum than in any church.
The ability to manifest, to express, to develop a technique, a concrete form, is so admirable, that I have been developing my own form, my own world.
