I was fortunate enough to visit several of the communities we work with, meet the artisans, take photos, be inspired, to say the least (visit my blog to learn about the profound impact and direction meeting our indigenous artisans had on me), and thus have enough tools (stories, photographs, and accurate data) to begin the great task of compiling and organizing into a single format to communicate the incredible communal and sacred ways that indigenous Mexicans see the world, and everything we have to learn from them.

As a communication strategy, we developed a highly informative catalog of each doll and the stories the artisans shared with us about their community. To complement and create a work of anthropological value, it required extensive research, as well as efforts in illustration, abstraction, and digitalization.
